Christmas 2008 I gave my Mom a journal jar. Since then she has taken the questions and wrote them in a book and given it to me. So I've decided to share it on here. Our only regrets is that we didn't know about the Journal Jar while my Grandma(Moner) was still living. I've also began making journal jars to sell.

What is the most trying experience that has ever happened to you?
I suppose it was Daddy's illness, seeing how it affected him. Bringing a strong able bodied man to helplessness. In the end him trying to tell us something and us not being able to understand him. Then losing Moner, then Billy. These things we don't understand and I questioned God. Why? His answer; I am love, I never make a mistake. I believe I will see them again someday. If it wasn't for the hope of that I dont know how I could go on. God is so merciful, He gives us strength for every trial and He know what He doing and what's best for all of us. I'm so thankful I'm in His hands and loving care. I pray everyday our families will be ready. It's a close walk and God will help us to make it if we want Him to, and ask Him.

AMEN! Blessings Thena... So thankful that we can have hope & faith in knowing this and that we will be reunited with them and God! Each morning His mercies are new and for this I am thankful also. It is hard seeing a strong, able dad helpless but Our heavenly Father was not helpless and He is in control! We do need to pray for our entire families to know Him and walk with Him so they will be ready.
ReplyDeleteI could not decide which blog and I just realized that this is from January but at least it's this year. It is a good question and it intrigued me.
My situation would be the one I am struggling with since last Dec., finding a friend of 15 yrs. who committed suicide. But God is faithful and He is able to heal us, comfort us and restore us. I trust in this. Thanks for your visit!
Love your prayer blog!
I guess I was curious about a "journal jar"... interesting!
Have a blessed week and may your heart's desires & prayers be answered according to God's will.
